Deleting Your PLN Account
Last updated: 26 July 2026
PLN System is a business tool. Accounts are issued inside an organization, so deleting your own account removes your access but does not delete the organization or the work records your organization is legally required to keep.
1. Delete Your Account From the Mobile App
Open PLN Mobile, go to Settings, and choose "Delete account". You will be asked to type your email address to confirm.
- Your account is disabled immediately and all active sessions are signed out.
- You will no longer be able to sign in on mobile or on the web.
- Your organization administrators are notified so they can handle the work records tied to your account.
- You receive a confirmation email at your registered address.
2. If You Can No Longer Sign In
If an administrator deactivated your account you can no longer sign in, so the in-app option is out of reach. Use the form at the bottom of this page: enter your registered email address and we will send you a confirmation link that is valid for one hour. Opening that link deletes the account without signing in.
If you no longer have access to that mailbox either, email [email protected] and we will action the request within 30 days.
3. Your Email Address Is Released
A PLN account belongs to exactly one organization, and an email address can only be used by one account at a time. Deleting your account releases your address, so you can be invited into a different organization later — for example if you change employer.
Being deactivated by an administrator does NOT release your address; only deletion does. That is why the deletion route above exists even for people who cannot sign in.
4. What Is Deleted, and When
- Immediately: your sign-in identity and credentials are deleted, ending your access to the Service.
- Immediately: your email address is released for reuse in another organization.
- Immediately: your device push-notification tokens are removed, ending all notifications.
- Within 90 days: your name, phone number and profile picture are erased from the work records that remain.
5. What Is Retained, and Why
Work records you created inside an organization — tasks, survey logs, control points, time and expense entries, chat messages, and files — belong to that organization, not to you personally. They remain with the organization so it can keep operating and meet its own record-keeping obligations.
For up to 90 days those records still show your name, so your organization can complete handover. After that they are anonymized automatically and show only "Deleted user". Audit and billing records are kept for as long as Lithuanian accounting and tax law requires.
If you want the organization to remove records that identify you sooner, contact your organization administrator or email [email protected].
6. Deleting an Entire Organization
If you are the organization owner, you cannot delete only your own account, because that would leave the organization without an owner. Sign in on the web, open Settings, and delete the organization instead. That starts a 7-day countdown, after which the organization and all of its data are permanently deleted.

If the English and Lithuanian versions differ, the Lithuanian version prevails.
